Child Development Center

is regulated under the Virginia State Licensing Authority in order to maintain high standards in the development of children. The purpose of Licensing Standards is to protect children who are separated from their parents and guardians during a part of the day by: Ensuring that the activities, services and facilities of the centers are conducive to the well-being of children, and-Reducing risks in the child care environment.

Open Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Before care 6:30 -9:00 am / After care 2:15- 6:00 pm

Focus: Ages 2 1/2 years through 12 years
*Our goals are connected to the development of the "whole child" through the developmental tasks of children. The tasks are divided into five major areas: Cognitive or Mental, Social, Emotional, Physical, and Creative.
*The early years are the most critical to well-rounded character development.

The Abeka Curriculm teaches the view of the world through the eyes of the Christian perspective. It will build a foundation of faith in God in young children, and clarify societal issues through the solutions that Christian educational resources offer.

- Provide enrolled children with a comprehensive program that will meet their emotional, social, nutritional,   and psychological needs.
-Develop a life view of the world integrated with Biblical applications through the applied curriculum;
-Offer an interactive partnership with families in the education of their children;
-Nurture a child's heart, enthusiasm, and excitement for learning.
