"Be kindly and affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the, saints, given to hospitality." Romans 12:10-13

The vision of the Young Ladies and Senior Lady's Usher's Ministry in the year 2000 is to actively support the church and the community through service and commitment. Our usher's ministry will promote unity, spiritual knowledge and stewardship.

The growth of our ministry will be achieved through knowledge, prayer, and communication. To facilitate this growth, we have incorporated scripture lessons, extensive study of the Wilson's Usher Guide and ushers training exercises at our monthly meetings. An intercessory prayer team and a "telephone chain" have been established to offer support to our members in times of need and to regulate the flow of information regarding  church events, deaths, illnesses, and member well being. Our fellowship committee plans activities periodically that allow us to unite, relax and enjoy!

The Male Usher's Ministry likewise actively supports the church and the community through service and commitment promoting unity, spiritual knowledge and stewardship.

As a part of the Usher's Union (Petersburg, Hopewell and Vicinity) we are committed to increasing its membership roll and participation in its workshops and conventions. For more information about the Ushers Ministry contact: ________________, or _________________
