Children's Church

Children’s Church sessions are held every third and fourth Sunday except on Sundays designated for special observances. Children’s Church serves children from 3 to 11 years old.

At Mount Olivet ministry with children is not an option -- it is an imperative!

Children need to know the reality of Jesus in all of our lives. Our objective is to lead each child to a personal knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and train them in the ways prescribed by God.

OUR GOALS: - To lead each child to a personal knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior - To guide children in Christian growth by God's Word - To provide opportunities for children to participate in all aspects of the church and its ministries.

Children's Church Will Enable Them To:

	Grow in their relationship with God and live faithfully in that relationship
	Develop maturing relationships with the members of God's family -- adults and peers alike
	Learn skills for personal Bible study
	Learn about the church and its work
	Identify their God-given talents -- learn how to develop them and use them for God's purpose
	Participate with God's family in worship and praise

Be A Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers to assist with our Children's Church. We value your willing spirit, your time, and your dedication!

As a volunteer in children's ministry, you have decided to be:

	Visible in your service to the Lord.
	Observant, looking for ways to be of help to others.
	Loving to the children you serve.
	Useful in your vision for children's ministry.
	Necessary and dependable.
	Trained and willing to learn more about Christian education.
	Excited in your service to God.
	Energetic in your outreach.
	Responsible to God for guidance.

Teachers are be interviewed and selected by the Minister of Christian Education and the director. Ministry staff meetings and training sessions are held every first Monday of the month at 7:00pm.
