Children Hold Our Future Mt. Olivet Summer Day Camp
was established in 1986, to offer youth enrichment activities in a Christian
environment, during the months when school is out. The program started as the
brainchild of our Pastor, Rev. Dr. W. K. McLaughlin and has been under the
directorship of three, Sisters Tracy Anderson, Rose Greene and J'von Holly. The
pastor's vision is to provide activities that meet children's physical, mental,
and spiritual demands while allowing them to be a child and have "good,
clean fun". What's Offered?! The Mt. Olivet Summer Camp
offers a variety of activities geared toward the Arts and educational
development. We offer: Music,
Dance, Drama, Arts & Crafts, Recreational, Tutorials, Sign Language, Foreign
Language, Sewing, Cooking Classes, Computer Classes, Cheering Camps, Wrestling
Camps, Swimming, Bowling, Skating, Field Trips, Devotional, Movies, Board Games,
Basketball and other activities. "We also take a group field trip to Kings
Dominion". Hours Of Operation Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Meals Provided Breakfast Lunch Snacks Fees and Cost *$55.00 per week *This fee includes all activities, supplies, and meals; except for Kings Dominion.
