Let me be the first to welcome you to the Mount Olivet Baptist Church Web Site. We are happy to have you and we are committed to presenting the message of Jesus Christ to the world.

In spite of our diversity, a common purpose unites us. We are called to be His People, and seek daily to live, work, and worship in His divine will.  His plan and purpose is so unique and awesome, that we admonish all to surrender to it.  Regardless of our differences, backgrounds, or past experiences, God promises to do a NEW thing in us..."NOW it shall spring forth"...  God is strengthening His people everywhere to serve with the utmost compassion to the world.

We believe in ministering to the whole person, Body, Soul, and Spirit.  We believe in teaching the Word of God in such a manner that people understand its practical application in their daily lives.

We believe that tithing and giving generously to the work of God is obedient giving.  We experience corporate blessings and prosperity when we, the church as a whole, become obedient to this command of God -- Otherwise, we live under a financial curse as a church and fail in fulfilling the plan of God for our lives.

It is my prayer that as you view this web site, you will allow God to give you a vision of what your personal call to serve the ministry should be.  God loves you so much, He is bound to encourage you to share that love with others.  Here at Mt. Olivet, we believe the Bible teaches and encourages ministry.  We also believe that every person is given  at least one gift.  After accepting Jesus Christ as Savior, our gifts are unveiled for His glory and honor.  At this church, after training our members through the Spiritual Gifts Workshops, we strongly encourage them to participate on those areas wherein they are gifted.

We are excited about "Doing It God's Way"... In our Growth, Education, Giving, and Spiritual Maturity.  It is my prayer that we will continue to follow the vision that God has given me as the servant of this wonderful church.  As the Holy Spirit leads, I will follow.  Let us walk together in the light of the Master's love.

Love, Peace and Joy!
